About.

The Watauga Warriors basketball club is committed to developing the basketball skills of girls in our community.  Our focus will be on providing opportunity for them to sharpen their skills in a team setting with highly trained coaches.  Our club will prepare girls for success on the court and in life.

Administration.

*Brittany Bolick
Brittany has been involved in coaching for the past 10 years ranging from travel to collegiate athletics. Growing up in Watauga County she played basketball and soccer at Watauga High School. After high school she accepted a full scholarship to play soccer at Charleston Southern University. Since leaving CSU, Brittany was the administrator for the women's soccer program at Kanakuk camps in Missouri,  head varsity soccer coach at WHS for four seasons, and assistant with the women's basketball team at WHS for 3 seasons. In the past 2 years she has been the assistant women's soccer coach at App State and coached a U11 girls soccer team.
"In my experience there is nothing that shapes someone the way athletics can, it teaches you life skills, teamwork, humbleness, and hard work.  My goal is to take my passion for athletics and instill a sense of confidence in each young lady I coach."

*Kim Pryor
Kim has been involved in coaching and athletic administration for over 25 years.  She played basketball, volleyball, and softball in high school before earning a full scholarship to play basketball at Florida Atlantic University.  She also ran cross country at FAU.  Since that time, Kim has coached basketball and volleyball at the college, high school, and club levels.  This year Kim has joined the women's basketball staff at Watauga High School and is an assistant coach for the varsity team.
"Through sports, I came to understand how to work together with teammates, fight through adversity, and become an effective leader. I also came to believe that through hard work and dedication, dreams do come true. My hope is to help provide consistent opportunities for girls of all ages to learn and excel in athletics and in life."

*Laura Barry
Laura joins our staff as the Director of Coach and Player Development and brings a vast amount of basketball experience to our program.  She began her college basketball career at UNC Wilmington before transferring to UNC Chapel Hill.  She also spent time as an assistant coach at Allegheny College, St. John's, and ETSU. She now is the head varsity basketball coach at Watauga High School and had an immediate impact on the program in just her first year.

*Dylan Eppley
Dylan comes to the Warriors staff as the chief operating officer in charge of logistics and skill development.  Dylan had a successful career playing for Avery County High School and Caldwell Community College.  Dylan is presently an assistant JV & varsity basketball coach at Watauga High School and coaches a boys' travel team with the Watauga Storm.  Dylan brings a great knowledge and enthusiasm for the game of basketball, and we are excited to welcome him to the program.
